Bridal Spectacular is looking to add a new member to our team!
We are looking for the right person for a commission based sales position. You will be responsible for seeking new clients interested in advertising to the wedding market via industry research, outgoing sales calls, etc. If you have experience selling “print” advertising you may be right for this position. Spectacular Bride magazine is distributed in hundreds of locations around the Las Vegas area, you will be reaching out to DJ’s, Florists, Photographers, and anyone else that wants to meet brides and grooms.
Among the main benefits of this position is that, provided you are doing your job well, it will not be necessary to come into our office every weekday. We may work out a schedule of regular lunch meeting to keep up with ongoing sales, but you will have a lot of freedom to plan your time spent, and often work from home.
Necessary Skills
– Personality, selling to our market isn’t as simple as taking an order. The product has many facets and is often personalized to meet the marketing needs of each client. You will need to build a relationship with each prospective client and remember to offer all the different marketing options available to them.
– Initiative, you can’t wait for them to call us! Your best commissions will be on new sales generated without our specific direction.
– Detail Oriented, This job involves handling many details and the ability to be a fast learner is important!
– Strong Customer Service Skills
– Familiar with Sage ACT, Office, and generally computer proficient
– Organized
– College degree preferred
– Wedding industry experience a plus
– Professional Appearance (this means no piercings and visible/offensive tattoos)
